Looking after your teeth

Dental care should be an important part of everyone's health routine but dental health is particularly important for people with haemophilia. Daily brushing and regular visits to the dentist should therefore be established early on.

The dentist should be fully aware of the haemophilia patient's condition in order to avoid unnecessary bleeding as, when necessary, invasive dental treatment has to be handled carefully.
